The Dolphins used their bevy of top 75 picks (six total) in the 2020 draft to address needs all over the field with their quarterback of the future, two offensive linemen, a cornerback, a defensive tackle and a safety.

So, after such a heavy investment, surely the team has no more holes to fill in 2021, right? Wrong.

Miami entered the 2020 draft with needs at almost every position on the field, so while the influx of young talent is helpful – it’s just the beginning of a long rebuilding process.

And the 2021 draft will provide more opportunities to do so. Miami owns five more picks on the draft’s first two days and should use them to continue to stockpile talent all over the field. Starting with their first of two first-round picks, the Dolphins should invest heavily in the defense.

Using their first pick on cornerback Shaun Wade, and pairing him with this year’s first-round pick Noah Igbinoghene, gives the Dolphins a young tandem of cornerbacks with legitimate top flight potential.

Scouting Report. Wide Receiver. Ja'Marr Chase. 6. 87. Pick Analysis. LSU. player

After using their first-round pick on defensive tackle Derrick Brown in the 2020 draft, the Panthers need to help star running back Christian McCaffrey and new quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.

Fortunately,, this draft is stacked with receivers who have legitimate WR1 potential. It will not be surprising if the first pass-catcher comes off the board before this pick, but if LSU wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase is on the board when the Panthers are on the clock, they should sprint to the stage and turn in the card.

Despite the talent which entered the 2020 draft, including fellow Tiger and first round pick Justin Jefferson, Chase was awarded the Biletnikoff Award at season’s end as the nations top receiver after amassing over 1,700 yards and 20 touchdowns.
