. . Colorado Rockies. 1. team. 108.

The Rockies are in a weird spot right now. While a lineup led by Nolan Arenado and Charlie Blackmon in the league’s most hitter-friendly park sounds like a core that could help the Rockies win a championship in 2020, the abhorrent pitching staff and trade rumors surrounding Arenado have led many to believe that Colorado might punt on 2020. No matter what direction they choose to go in this season, trading for Frazier could help them out.

If they have an eye towards the future and want to acquire young studs, Frazier could spend his prime years in Coors Field, taking advantage of their uniquely big gaps in center field. If they want to contend this season, Frazier has enough experience and potential to make the Rockies comfortable with slotting him in one of their starting outfield spots now that Ian Desmond has sat the season out. This trade makes too much sense for both parties.
