1. Ohio State goes undefeated and wins the National Championship

This is probably the least bold prediction that you could make about this Ohio State team, but that is a testament to how good this program is.

That being said, doing this is no easy task as the last time this happened in Columbus was in the 2002 national championship season where the Buckeyes went 14-0. The last time they went undefeated, however, was in their bowl ban season of 2012 when they went 12-0.

This year has every chance to be the year where the Buckeyes finally get back on top of the college football world as they have all the pieces in place. A Heisman level quarterback, a big, experienced offensive line, athletes all over the field on both sides, and a rather experienced linebacker core. All of this not mentioning that they also return a future first round corner in Shaun Wade, the next in line of a plethora of talented corners coming out of Columbus.

The biggest hurdle in this is not wondering if the Buckeyes have the talent to pull it off, we all know that they do. It is whether or not they can finally beat Clemson. To a lot of people, this season almost seems to be on the track of a collision course between the Tigers and the Buckeyes at the end of the season. A rematch of the fantastic semifinal game from last year.

Ohio State is 0-3 against Clemson in their history and 0-2 since Urban Meyer arrived on campus.  This year, however, will finally be the year that Ohio State runs the table, and notches a win in the column against Clemson and wins their ninth national championship in school history.
