Green Bay Packers-Aaron Rodgers will throw for less than 3,000 yards

The Packers have made it abundantly clear that they want to run the football more in 2020. Not drafting a wide receiver to give Rodgers help on the outside makes it crystal clear that Green Bay wants to pound opponents on the ground.

That strategy shift isn’t going to sit well with the Hall of Fame signal-caller, but he won’t be able to really change his situation during the year. That means he’s going to hand the ball off to running backs more than ever before.

The end result will be a statistically poor season for Rodgers. He’ll throw for less than 3,000 yards even if he plays all 16 games. That will represent the worst mark of his career in any season where he’s stayed reasonably healthy.

Minnesota Vikings-Jeff Gladney will make the Pro Bowl

Rookie cornerbacks often struggle to acclimate themselves to life in the NFL. Fortunately for Gladney, he’s been drafted by the perfect franchise to make his transition to the pro ranks as smooth as possible.

He’ll walk right into a starting spot on a defense that already has a ferocious front seven. That should help simplify his duties in 2020. Credit his collegiate coaching staff at TCU for getting him ready to play man coverage against elite receivers right away too. Add it all up and he’s poised to have a big year. Earning Pro Bowl recognition would make the Vikings look great for drafting him in Round 1.
