DraftKings MLB Stack Options:

Kansas City Royals vs. Matt Boyd:

The Royals pound Boyd. They always have. They are hitting .295 with four homers and 25 runs in 146 at bats. Whit Merrifield should be used every time the Royals face the Tigers. He hits them better than any other team. Boyd is no exception. White is hitting .513 against him in 39 at bats. Salvy has two homers off of Boyd. Nicky Lopez and Mondesi have the others. Soler has hit Boyd well too but hasn’t taken him deep yet.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Cristian Javier:

This guy has thrown just 12 innings above the AA level. He’s been outstanding in the minors, but a high walk rate could be his undoing. The Dodgers are full of good and patient hitters, and their left-handed power is off the charts. I like this a little less if the roof is closed, but not enough to move off of Muncy and Bellinger.

New York Yankees vs. Asher Wojciechowski:

I don’t really expect Woj to get blasted here, but he did give up three homers in his start against the Yankees last season. The homer potential is why you chase Yankees bats tonight. Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Judge are the usual suspects. Lefties have battered Woj in his career. Make sure you have some exposure to Yankees lefties as well.

Minnesota Twins vs. Daniel Ponce de Leon:

This is a tough assignment for the youngster. It’s especially tough considering his extreme reverse splits. Righties have hit all but one of the career homers in 336 plate appearances off of Ponce de Leon and they are hitting 91 points higher. This is the time to jump on Nelson Cruz (again), Donaldson, and Mitch Garver for starters. I’m not sure that I’ll even play Kepler due to the extreme reverse splits. I’m taking righties only.
