Best: Terry McLaurin – ADP 59 (5.11)

Much like Courtland Sutton, Scary Terry overcame a bad offense and put up quality fantasy numbers by being his team’s target hog. Sutton averaged 13.9 PPR points per game last year; Terry had 13.7. The difference between them is that McLaurin still doesn’t have competition for targets this year, yet he’s being drafted 13 spots later. The Washington Football Team ran 58 less plays than the second lowest team last year, opening the door for positive regression in plays ran and therefore a bump in McLaurin’s targets. He’s a great value in the late 5th round.

Other Contenders: Tyler Lockett

Worst: Kyler Murray – ADP 55 (5.07)

It’s very possible that Kyler Murray breaks out and jumps from his QB7 rookie finish to a top-three option. That doesn’t mean you should draft him as the QB3, which is his current spot in ADP. Taking a quarterback in the middle rounds has been a waste of a pick in recent history, and the hype for Kyler is making about as much sense as the hype for Baker Mayfield last year. If you must draft a quarterback this early, draft one with proven production (like the three other QBs being drafted around Murray).

Other Contenders: D.K. Metcalf
