Carolina Panthers: RB Christian McCaffrey

Matt Rhule takes over as head coach. Versatile Christian McCaffrey has only played three seasons but this past year, he became just the third player in NFL history to total at least 1,000 yards rushing and receiving in the same season and it earned him All-Pro honors. Recently-retired Luke Kuechly would have been a logical pick as well.

Chicago Bears: CB Kyle Fuller

Pass rusher Khalil Mack, who earned 2016 NFL Defensive Player of the Year honors with the Raiders, would be a solid choice also. But cornerback Kyle Fuller bears a look. While he missed all of 2016, he has started every other game for the team since joining the Bears in 2014. In five seasons, he’s totaled 18 picks and 74 passes defensed.

Cincinnati Bengals: WR A.J. Green

Injuries have hampered the fourth overall pick in the 2011 draft two of the past seasons and the star wideout missed all of 2019. But there’s no denying the greatness of seven-time Pro Bowler A.J. Green, who earned all of those invitations in his first seven years in the league and now will catch passes from rookie Joe Burrow.

Cleveland Browns: DE Myles Garrett

The first overall pick in 2017 just inked a lucrative contract and that’s good news for an organization that has had a habit of letting its first-round draft choices either get away or not pan out for far too long. Defensive end Myles Garrett has played in 37 regular-season contests, has accumulated 30.5 sacks and was a Pro Bowler in 2018.
