DraftKings MLB picks July 30: Get Fried in Hotlanta

We are down to 10 DraftKings MLB games today. Both the Nationals and Reds games start before 7 pm Eastern, and we know that DraftKings exiles those games. Look for a short slate on this one.

More from DFS

I can get on board using Ryu against the Nats, but Luis Castillo against the Cubs is very tempting as well. For bats, go with Reds power bats against Darvish. He has allowed six homers in 120 at bats to Reds hitters. Round out your hitters with a Schwarber one-off and some Jays against Erick Fedde.

There could be some pesky showers around Atlanta and Baltimore, but we are looking at short delays. Rain isn’t supposed to start in Baltimore in earnest until near midnight, so that one should be fine.

Cincinnati is going to be the problem spot. The rain chance goes down every hour from 8pm, but how long are they going to wait to start? If they do, will this be added to the main slate and the early scrapped entirely?

We have great hitting conditions in Hotlanta and Baltimore. The side breeze in Atlanta wont aid the homers any more than usual though.

Last night was back in the win column thanks to a few Cole/Woodruff lineups with Royals. A goose egg by Salvy and a low score from Gleyber capped the upside.

These tips are based mostly on past performance. This is a nice tool for building a lineup, but should not be the only pieces of information you use. I recommend checking out RotoBallers for optimizers and other statistical tools to help put your best lineup forward.
