J.K. Dobbins has an opportunity to become a league winner this season.

Last season, the Baltimore Ravens dominated the NFL by running the football, finishing in first with a whopping 3,296 yards on the season. That led the NFL. They averaged over 200 yards per game thanks to the deadly combination of Lamar Jackson and Mark Ingram. Those two players also happened to help fantasy football owners in a huge way. Ahead of the 2020 season, there’s a real chance that a new name can rise as a top name of fantasy football sleepers. His name is rookie J.K. Dobbins, who will now be apart of the Ravens backfield.

Dobbins was the man last season at Ohio State, rushing for 2,003 yards and 21 touchdowns while catching 23 balls through the air. His addition to this mouth-watering rushing offense and current average draft position in FantasyPros of 88th overall makes him the perfect sleeper for this season. Of course, there is the part where he is the clear No. 2, or even No. 3 heading into training camp behind at least Mark Ingram. Add in that Jackson takes his fair share of carries and you could be wary.

Hear us out though. An injury to Ingram could very well lead to more touches for Dobbins and an opportunity. At his current spot of Round 9, he’s worth the bench stash if this were to become a reality. And even with Ingram healthy, they showed they don’t want to rundown the tires of Ingram too much with hopes for the playoffs. That gives Dobbins a chance to carve out a roll no matter what.

I understand you may still be shaky, but that’s what fantasy football sleepers are for. J.K. Dobbins is the ultimate sleeper this season. His possible opportunity of taking over that backfield gives him instant RB2, perhaps even RB1 potential in the long run for the season. Pay the ninth round price and bask in the glory of success when it pans out and you are running home with a league title.
