It was one of the shockers of the 2020 offseason. Three-time All-Pro wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins was dealt to the Arizona Cardinals and has been well documented, the Texans didn’t exactly get a lot in return. But Bill O’Brien was not finished tweaking his wide receiving corps. The team still had Will Fuller and Kenny Stills and would not only obtain well-traveled Brandin Cooks in a deal with the Rams but via free agency add one-time Packers’ standout Randall Cobb, who spent 2019 with the Dallas Cowboys.

The latter appears to be very high on new teammate Deshaun Watson and recently spoke about his former signal-callers Aaron Rodgers and Dak Prescott. “I think all three are elite quarterbacks,” said Cobb (via Mark Lane of TexansWire.com). “One thing about Deshaun watching him on tape whenever I was making my decision is just his accuracy and his ability to make plays. You look at what he’s done just in his first three years. You look at the course of his career from high school, he’s a winner. He’s found a way to win on the biggest stage at every level and I think he has that ability.”

Houston’s talented quartet of wideouts could be primed to create a lot of issues for opposing defenses.
