3. CB Tre’Davious White, Buffalo Bills

Some would lay claim to the fact that New England Patriots’ defensive back Stephon Gilmore isn’t even the best player at his position in the AFC East. Bill Belichick’s talented cornerback – a former member of the Buffalo Bills –captured 2019 NFL Defensive Player of the Year honors thanks to 53 tackles, six interceptions (two returned for touchdowns, one fumble recovery and an impressive 20 passes defensed.

Speaking of the Bills, cornerback Tre’Davious White has already carved his own niche in the league as well after only three seasons. A total of 47 regular-season games and starts have added up to a dozen interceptions three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and an impressive 43 passes defensed. In 2019, White was named to the Pro Bowl and earned All-Pro accolades. It was a season in which he finished with 58 stops, six picks, the aforementioned pair of forced fumbles and 17 passes defensed.

Sean McDermott’s team may be on the verge of some big things this season. The Bills are seeking their first AFC East title and playoff victory since 1995. He’ll make $1,841 million this season and $10.244 million in 2021. Then again, don’t be shocked if there’s quite a deal on the table before his fifth year in the league.
