6 teams poised to finally return to the NFL playoffs in 2020

Denver Broncos
Is Drew Lock really a franchise quarterback? Only time will tell, but it’s clear based on the collection of talent the Broncos assembled around him that the front office is committed to finding out.
On paper, Denver appears to have one of the most exciting young offenses in the NFL. Wide receiver Courtland Sutton is the only dynamic receiver no longer — he’s flanked by first- and second-round draft picks Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler — while back-to-back 1,000-yard rusher Phillip Lindsay is joined in the backfield by two-time Pro Bowler Melvin Gordon.
The additions don’t end there. The offensive line projects to field three new starters. After recording double digit sacks as a rookie, Bradley Chubb returns from injury, rejoining perennial All-Pro Von Miller up front. And general manager John Elway traded pennies on the dollar for a pair of Pro Bowlers, defensive lineman Jurrell Casey and cornerback A.J. Bouye.
This roster doesn’t require greatness from Lock, which is nice considering he has five professional starts under his belt. If the 23-year-old can simply hold his own, the Broncos are built to compete. Not in a year or two. Right now.
