Pittsburgh Steelers – Diontae Johnson

Johnson hit the ground running as a rookie for the Steelers last year, catching 59 passes for 680 yards and five touchdowns. Excellent after the catch, Johnson did enough to earn the trust of his quarterback, which in 2020 will be Ben Roethlisberger. Look for that pair to quickly strike up a rapport and for Johnson to play a key role in the resurgence of the Steelers offense.

Seattle Seahawks – Shaquill Griffin

A Pro Bowler for the first time in 2019, Griffin has proven the perfect fit for the Seahawks defense with his size, length and coverage ability. The addition of Jamal Adams has the potential to elevate the Seahawks defense to another level. With the presence of an All-Pro in the secondary to aid his development, Griffin could be talked about as one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL come the end of the 2020 campaign.

San Francisco 49ers – Jerick McKinnon

McKinnon has yet to play a regular-season snap for the 49ers following a torn ACL that cost him two seasons of his career. However, the reports out of training camp regarding the former Minnesota Viking have been extremely encouraging. The Niners’ receiving corps has been depleted by injuries, making the emergence of a pass-catching running back like McKinnon crucial for Kyle Shanahan. Expect the Niners backfield to be more diverse and more devastating in 2020.
