5 teams that should trade for Saints RB Alvin Kamara

New England Patriots
At first glance, the Patriots are loaded at running back. Sony Michel is said to be rounding into form, with 2019 third-round pick Damien Harris pushing for playing time. James White and Rex Burkhead are still in the mix as well, and now Lamar Miller is lurking on the PUP list.
Yet when has having a lot of talent ever stopped Bill Belichick from making a blockbuster to acquire more?
With Cam Newton under center, New England figures to run the ball this season more than ever, so being able to go as many as four-deep in the backfield certainly won’t be a problem. Being able to package a ball carrier back to the Saints may even sweeten the deal.
The Patriots always wind up with a bevy of compensatory draft picks, and will again in 2021 in part due to Tom Brady’s departure, while cap space is no issue.
So again, why not? The Patriots won’t to remain in the picture as a Super Bowl contender, so adding another dynamic weapon to the offense to pair with Newton actually kind of seems like a no-brainer.
