The Runningback position is the most important in Fantasy Football. Load up on good RB’s before it’s too late. Once the cliff comes, it’s a steep one.

That brings me into my favorite player in Fantasy Football Drafts this season:

Clyde Edwards-Helaire (ADP: 11, Round 1): It’s no secret. You’re going to have to spend up for Clyde this season. It’s rare to see a rookie RB be drafted in fantasy so high, but given the performances we have seen in the past few seasons, it makes sense. Even I don’t think Clyde is high enough. If you have a mid-first round pick, don’t waste your time on a Henry, Sanders or Chubb. Take the guy playing in the best offense in the NFL. With Damien Williams opting out, I am not afraid of Darrel Williams or DeAndre Washington taking any touches. Clyde is a no-brainer if he falls to you.

Joe Mixon (ADP: 23, Rounds 2-3): Here’s my second favorite RB to target in Round 2. Anyone who drafted Mixon last year, has PTSD as they had to watch their first or second round pick give them little to no points, losing all hope on him in the process. But, little do they remember, after the Bengals Bye Week in Week 9, the Bengals fed Joe Mixon the ball. They made him the focal point of their offense and he flourished. He carried the ball 18+ times in 7 of the last 8 games of the season. Guess how many games he had with that many touches in the first 8 games? Yep. Only 1. This offense will be much improved with Joe Burrow and they will keep Joe as the focal point. Not to mention, Mixon just received a big pay day. Expect him to return mid-first round value for a mid-second round pick. Not too bad if you ask me.

Quick Hitters:

David Johnson (ADP: 44, Rounds 4-5): He’s talented, and will be much better than people expect. The Texans need David Johnson to work out or else Bill O’Brien will have to wear his clown nose for getting rid of Hopkins for nothing.

Kareem Hunt (ADP: 72, Rounds 7-8): Kareem has great stand-alone value. He’s a PPR monster. He’s also one Nick Chubb injury away from being a top 5 RB.

JK Dobbins (ADP: 106, Rounds 10-11): Talent always prevails eventually. You might have to be patient with him but his day will come. Mark Ingram is not the future for the Ravens.
