NBA DFS guard plays

If Game 1 is any indication, Jamal Murray wont be anywhere close to worth his price until is decreases significantly. Kemba is priced about right, but Kyle Lowry has far more upside. With that comes a much lower floor.

Being able to use Paul George at guard on both sides helps out today. Not that we need PG13 for value, but it does give us an interesting alternative on FanDuel to VanVleet. Will George outscore him? He might get close, which makes George an interesting pivot.

Fred VanVleet is still one of the best dollar-for-dollar plays on the slate. Jaylen Brown is getting close to that status with Hayward out. I like running them both as my guards in cash games on DraftKings. There’s very little risk with those two and they are both reasonably priced.

Marcus Smart’s price seems a touch high on both sites. He can’t hit value and certainly has no upside with his price this high. Roll the dice on Lou Williams in GPP formats or find the extra money for Brown in cash. The pricing has made Smart obsolete.

Patrick Beverley is an absolute gift at that price on DraftKings. Especially when you consider that Reggie Jackson played 13 minutes in Game 1 and didn’t record one single stat. Nothing. He got as many points as he would have had he not entered the game at all.
