19. Week 12 – Washington Football Team at Dallas Cowboys

Is there a strong possibility that the maligned Washington franchise carries a losing record into this matchup? Yes. Does it matter? Not really.

The Football Team and Cowboys have been going at it since Dwight Eisenhower’s presidency. Their first rendezvous took place in Oct. 1960, and the rivalry has percolated ever since. To the Cowboys credit, they emphatically dominate the historical series. They top the win-loss-tie split by a tally of 73-45-2.

This game could feature Dak Prescott versus Dwayne Haskins, Dak Prescott versus Alex Smith, Andy Dalton versus Dwyane Haskins, or Andy Dalton versus Alex Smith. With injuries and performance, who knows? Plus, you’ll be eating turkey while watching it all play out — the game is on Thanksgiving Day.

20. Week 12 – Kansas City Chiefs at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

If all goes according to each team’s most optimistic plan, the Chiefs at Buccaneers in Week 12 could be a Super Bowl preview. Why? Because it’s Patrick Mahomes vs. Tom Brady Part Four.

The two signal-callers are separated by a meager 21 years of age, but that just makes this contest all the more fascinating. Should Brady remain upright until this game, it will give Mahomes a crack at evening the career score against Brady. The new Buccaneers quarterback is 2-1 versus Mahomes.
