Start:

Austin Hooper, CLE, @ BAL

I feel like we have been told all offseason and training camp that Austin Hooper and Baker Mayfield have developed excellent chemistry. Well, it’s time to believe that as Hooper should be heavily involved in his Cleveland debut and is worth the start this weekend.

Mike Gesicki, MIA, @ NE

We aren’t going to sweat the reports that Mike Gesicki was listed as the No. 2 tight end on the Dolphins depth chart. Instead, we are going to assume that he will start and dominate the Patriots once again. Play him and trust him, he’s going to have a great year.

Sit:

Hunter Henry, LAC, @ CIN

The hype behind Hunter Henry has faded more and more each season and this should be the lowest. Tyrod Taylor can’t get the ball to everyone and we expect Henry to be the one who suffers. Fade him in Week 1.

T.J. Hockenson, DET, vs. CHI

T.J. Hockenson is going to be a star. That doesn’t mean we are buying into him just yet. An ankle injury that required surgery supposedly hasn’t healed completely yet. Sit him in his first week to see if that will affect him moving forward.

So that’s it! Week 1 of starts and sits are here and hopefully, they lead you to success early on here. Be sure to check back for more start and sit options next week.
