22. player. 30. . Edge. New York Jets. Jayson Oweh

The New York Jets finally traded safety Jamal Adams this offseason, sending the disgruntled, but elite safety to the Seattle Seahawks. His loss leaves a major void in the team’s secondary, but with the pick they got from the Seahawks for Adams, they should focus on bringing in an edge rusher.

Jayson Oweh from Penn State is a guy that would be perfect for this Jets defense, as he has a tremendous motor, and can make plays in the backfield. He is a big part of a dominant defense for the Nitanny Lions that includes fellow first round talent Micah Parsons, and on the Jets, he joins a young front that includes 2019 first rounder, Quinnen Williams.

54. . Wide Receiver. Philadelphia Eagles. Rashod Bateman. 23. player

The Philadelphia Eagles should be hoping that they can keep Carson Wentz healthy all season, and in the playoffs, as that has not been the issue since selecting him at No. 2 overall in the 2016 NFL Draft. Wentz started all 16 games as a rookie in 2016, but had injuries in 2017 and 2018, before being hurt in the playoffs this past season.

If Wentz can stay healthy, he is one of the better young quarterbacks in the NFL, and the Eagles should use this first round pick on a weapon for the wideout group. Rashod Bateman is an explosive playmaker who had over 1,000 yards and 11 touchdowns last season for Minnesota, and many experts have him ticketed for the first round in 2021.

. Tight End. Green Bay Packers. Kyle Pitts. 24. player. 49

The Green Bay Packers made a shocking decision to select a quarterback in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, bringing in Jordan Love to backup Aaron Rodgers. What made it so shocking was that the team said Rodgers had a lot of football left, and they really needed to get him some elite weapons in the first round.

In 2021, they get him a solid tight end, adding Kyle Pitts, who is regarded as the best at his position in this draft class. Rodgers always plays his best football when he has an elite pass-catching tight end, and in Pitts, he could have his best weapon since Jeremy Graham at the position.
