Goran Dragic was belting out some hits after the Heat moved in in the postseason.

The Miami Heat have bulldozed through the playoffs, even taking down the No. 1 seed Milwaukee Bucks after a Giannis Antetokounmpo ankle injury sealed their doom. Behind some clutch performances by Jimmy Butler and Goran Dragic, the Heat charged to the Eastern Conference finals on the back of a suffocating defense and high-octane, three-point heavy offense.

Dragic and the Heat are relishing their new brash persona, as evidenced by Dragic singing “Bad Boys” to Butler and Bam Adebayo after they knocked Milwaukee out of the postseason in five games.

The Heat have a good shot at the NBA title given how deep they are

Butler might get most of the publicity, but Erik Spoelstra has built a team full of excellent secondary scorers. Adebayo is becoming one of the best rim-runners in the game, while Duncan Robinson has morphed into an elite 3-point shooter. Kendrick Nunn and Tyler Herro give Miami’s second unit life, while Dragic himself is the stable, veteran presence that keeps this team together.

While they may lack a true superstar, Miami’s selfless offense and persistent defense make them as difficult a matchup on any given night as any team in the league. Even at age 34, Dragic, who is averaging 16.2 points per game this season, can be counted on to make big shots when needed.

As good as Jimmy Butler is, Erik Spoelstra and the Heat pride themselves on being a team full of players exceeding expectations in one specific role and going full speed on every single possession. When if they take on a team with the star power of Toronto or Boston in the conference finals, that tenacity and kinship could help Miami win the East.
