We’re not really sure what this was supposed to be. Marlon Humphrey jumped the route — a pass which was supposed to go to Odell Beckham, Jr. Humphrey read Mayfield far too easily, a trait which came in handy earlier in the game, but we’ll get to that. Mayfield appears unable to manage the personalities on this Browns team, which explains why he’s forcing the ball to the likes of Beckham, Jr. and others. OBJ wasn’t open on this play. Even had the ball miraculously made it through Humphrey, Beckham would’ve been blown up by the safety.
