1. Jerry Jeudy (DEN)

Game: Tennessee Titans at Denver Broncos (Monday, 9/14,10:10pm EST)

Jerry Jeudy is on almost all fantasy rosters based on the excitement surrounding him. He was the 15th-overall pick in the NFL draft and is scheduled to thrive if second-year quarterback Drew Lock continues to mature in Denver.

A new wrinkle in his fantasy outlook surfaced this week. Wide receiver Courtland Sutton injured his shoulder in practice and may not be 100 percent for Monday’s tryst with the Giants. Sutton’s ailment notwithstanding, Jeudy is already considered the Broncos WR2.

If Sutton is hampered before or during the contest, Jeudy — in his first NFL game — will act as WR1. And, that has sleeper galore written boldfaced all over it.

2. Emmanuel Sanders (NO)

Game: Tampa Bay Buccanneers at New Orleans Saints (Sunday, 9/13, 4:25 EST)

Ted Ginn, Tre’Quan Smith, and Will Snead — what do these men have in common? They are all WR2s on the Saints in the last five years. These men are average-to-decent catchers of the football in the NFL. Inexplicably, they are the best players the Saints have been able to find for the WR2 position since 2015.

Drew Brees finally gets a verifiable WR2 that has an ceritifiable track record of production. His name is Emmanuel Sanders. He and Brees will capitalize on this opportunity.

This sleeper recommendation transcends Week 1. If you haven’t already, prepare to start Sanders in your FLEX spot when your roster goes pear-shaped or you realize that Sanders will flourish in New Orleans.
