Aaron Rodgers threw a pair of first-half touchdown passes and his team not only owned a 22-10 lead at halftime but had outgained the Vikings in total yards, 271-97. The final score was not indicative of Green Bay’s dominance as they rolled up 522 total yards and Rodgers finished with 364 yards through the air and four scores (via Rob Demovsky of ESPN). The Packers’ offensive line paved the way for 158 yards rushing and did not allow a sack.

It was a somewhat up-and-down performance for Sean Payton’s club. But it also showed that the Saints continue to find ways to win even if they aren’t playing their best…yet. Alvin Kamara ran for one touchdown and pulled down another from Drew Brees, who only threw for 160 yards albeit two scores. Sean Payton’s club played turnover-free ball while forcing the Bucs into three miscues – including Janoris Jenkins’ pick-six of Tom Brady.

The defending Super Bowl champions certainly looked the part against the Houston Texans on Thursday night. First-round draft choice Clyde Clyde Edwards-Helaire ran 25 times for 138 yards and one touchdown, quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw for 211 yards and three scores and Andy Reid’s team did not commit a turnover. Kansas City’s defense picked up where it left off late in 2019. The Chiefs are now riding a 10-game overall winning streak.
