18. team. 57. . 1-0. Previous: . Chicago Bears

Just as was the case too often last season, the Bears’ offense had its issues early in games. Against the Lions on Sunday, Matt Nagy’s club managed only a pair of field goals after three quarters of play. But before you could say Mitchell Trubisky, the fourth-year quarterback finished with 242 yards through the air and three fourth-quarter scores – the final TD a 27-yard connection with 1:54 to play as Chicago rallied from a 17-point deficit to win.

52. . 1-0. Previous: . Jacksonville Jaguars. 17. team

After winning the AFC South in 2017 and reaching the conference title game that season, Doug Marrone’s club followed that up with a pair of last-place finishes. But the Jaguars got off to a good start in besting the visiting Colts. The defense picked off Philip Rivers twice while second-year quarterback was an astonishing 19-of-20 for 173 yards and three touchdowns. It was the sixth straight home win by the Jaguars in this divisional rivalry.

16. team. 51. . 1-0. Previous: . Los Angeles Rams

A year ago in Week 15, Sean McVay’s club was humbled by the Cowboys at Dallas, 44-21. This time around on a Sunday night in the team’s new digs, the Rams were able to keep their offense on the field and Dak Prescott and company on the sidelines. Los Angeles won the time of possession battle, holding the ball for 35:38 and gashing Dallas’ defense for 153 yards on the ground and 422 total yards. And the Rams sacked Prescott three times.
