The Eagles made their way to Landover looking to extend their six-game winning streak vs. Washington. It didn’t figure to be easy given a slew of injuries, most notably on the offensive line. And quarterback Carson Wentz would take his licks. He would throw for 270 yards and his two scoring tosses gave Philadelphia a 17-0 second-quarter lead. But he was also sacked eight times, committed three turnovers and Washington rallied for a 10-point win.

48. . 0-1. Previous: . Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 14. team

The Tom Brady Era in Tampa got off to quite a start as he capped a nine-play 85-yard drive with a two-yard TD run in the first quarter at the Superdome. But he also had his issues as a pair of touchdown passes were offset by two interceptions, one of those returned for a touchdown. Tampa’s defense actually held the usually-explosive Saints to 271 total yards but the pass rush only got to Drew Brees once and Todd Bowles’ unit failed to force a turnover.

55. . 0-0. Previous: . Pittsburgh Steelers. 13. team

This past season, Mike Tomlin’s team led the NFL with 38 takeaways – a huge departure from recent seasons when the Steelers struggled to force turnovers. They figured to get their opportunities at the expense of Giants’ second-year quarterback Daniel Jones, who coughed up the ball far too often last season via 23 turnovers – including 11 lost fumbles. Pittsburgh must come out with a balanced attack against a very vulnerable New York defensive unit.
