Jadeveon Clowney is officially in a Titans uniform Monday night.

Jadeveon Clowney spent the entire NFL offseason seeking a lucrative multi-year deal. He found no suitors and settled on a one-year, $13 million with the Tennessee Titans.

The Titans are taking on the Denver Broncos Monday night in what is the final game of Week 1. Clowney is also making his debut on the national stage, giving NFL fans the chance to see him in his new uniform.

Clowney was a great pickup for the Titans right before the start of the season. The team reached the AFC Championship Game last year and now adds an elite former No. 1 overall pick to the defense. And it did not cost near the $20 million price tag Clowney was reportedly asking for earlier in the offseason.

Harold Landry led the Titans in sacks last season with nine in 16 games. Clowney has reached that mark twice in his career, but did have a disappointing total of three last season with the Seattle Seahawks. He was also limited to 13 games.

The Titans have legitimate Super Bowl hopes in 2020 and went all-in by giving Derrick Henry his money after handing Ryan Tannehill a four-year deal worth $118 million. Clowney now has the fourth-highest cap hit on the team behind Malcolm Butler, Taylor Lewan, and Tannehill.

The hype for the 2020 season was high in general for Titans fans. Then the team handed out money to the core stars and then were able to grab Clowney late. Seeing him in a Titans uniform finally made it real and fans will be eager to see what he can do Monday night against a young quarterback in Drew Lock.
