Preseason Predictions I Don’t Believe

Bryce Love will finish as a top 35 RB worthy of weekly Flex consideration

Love was not even active for the first game, and Peyton Barber and Antonio Gibson helped fuel the Redskins’ upset win. Next.

Chargers defense scores more fantasy points than the Patriots defense

This prediction was based upon the assumption that the Patriots defense would struggle with the many departures it suffered. The Chargers’ defense looked capable, but the Patriots’ looked even better.

Austin Ekeler will be a top 3 fantasy RB

I’m not ready to cash in on Ekeler this season, but the Chargers’ offense looked poor with Tyrod Taylor at the helm. I’m not convinced it will be conducive to any top scoring fantasy player.

Cooper Kupp will outscore all other Rams WRs by at least 50 points this season

Kupp has a very specific role in the Rams’ offense. He has a very high floor and will be a reliable fantasy flex play most weeks. But due to his very specific role, he will not be booming on many predictions this season. It seems Robert Woods has taken most of the targets left by Brandin Cooks, as opposed to Kupp.

Miles Sanders will finish outside the top 15 RBs

The Eagles’ offense struggled without Sanders in the lineup. I am ready to see Sanders give this offense a boost, and I now believe that he will.
