Week 1 New Bold Predictions

Leonard Fournette will not finish the season with the Bucs after being cut mid-season

Fournette was essentially a non-factor in week 1. It seems Bruce Arians’ claim that Ronald Jones II is the lead back is thus far supported. Fournette will become expendable quickly.

Russell Wilson will be the #1 overall QB

Russell Wilson is consistently a top 5 fantasy Quarterback, and has shown no different this season. While it’s always in the range of possibilities, I believe that his supporting cast this season is conducive to tremendous fantasy success.

The Falcons will have 3 top-30 WRs

Everyone knew that Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley would be fantasy stars this season, but I think it’s possible that Russell Gage has sustained fantasy success this season as well.

Devante Adams will be the #1 overall WR

Adams’ huge week 1 combined with Michael Thomas‘ early injury open the door to a changing of the guard at the top of the WR rankings. This is assuming his health this season.

Darius Slayton will be a top 15 WR

I always saw Slayton as the top receiver on the Giants. He had a huge end to his rookie year and this season has started the same way. I predict that this success is sustainable, and that Slayton will be a reliable starter this season.
