Juju Smith-Schuster, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers

Smith-Schuster finally got Ben Roethlisberger back and it paid off in the form of 69 yards and two touchdowns. This already has the fourth-year receiver near his total of three touchdowns from all of last season.

Fantasy owners may have written off the receiver after last season. But that came with Mason Rudolph and Devlin “Duck” Hodges splitting the quarterback duties. Having Roethlisberger back should help Smith-Schuster get back to his 2018 ways when he finished with 1,426 yards and seven touchdowns.

Week 1 was all about Roethlisberger getting a feel for the game again after missing nearly all of last season. He had no preseason and got that first game out of the way. Now the Steelers are taking on a Denver Broncos defense that allowed Corey Davis to go off for 101 yards. Smith-Schuster being the clear number one receiver means there is no reason why he can’t easily go over 100 yards if he gets 8-10 targets.

Corey Davis, WR, Tennessee Titans

Speaking of Davis, he has another favorable matchup after his 101-yard performance in Denver. The Titans are taking on a Jacksonville Jaguars defense that allowed 445 total yards of offense to the Indianapolis Colts. Somehow, they still managed to win the game.

That 445-yard total  is great news for Davis and the Titans offense. Derrick Henry should be able to run wild and thus set up the passing game. Taking the number one receiver on a team going up against a defense that just got destroyed is never a bad plan.
