Late college football DFS picks September 19: King me!
By Mike Marteny
College football DFS wide receiver picks September 19:
Top Tier:
Jack Abraham didn’t even really look anywhere other than Tim Jones in the opener. He’s worth paying for in a game in which the Eagles will likely find themselves behind again.
Dez Fitzpatrick doesn’t get a lot of attention across from Tutu Atwell, but I prefer Fitzpatrick in this matchup. He should find himself open a little more often against a tough Miami secondary.
I’ll say this again for those of you that didn’t read my stuff last year. Adrian Hardy is a freaking beast. He’s the best receiver you’ve never heard of and should jump off the page against this Southern Miss secondary.

Middle Tier:
Justin Garrett and Jacob Cowing are worth a look based on volume alone. They have caught more than half of the Miner’s completions on the season so far.
Brevin Jordan is likely the best TE in college this year. D’Eriq King looked to him early and often against UAB. Look for the same here against a Louisville team that will try to take away the deep ball.
Marcell Barbee made quite a splash in his FBS debut last weekend. He found the end zone twice. This play wont matter depending on the quarterback. Barbee is the best receiver the Bobcats have and will be an asset to either signal caller.
Taylor Morin appears to be the go-to guy with the Wake receiving corps depleted. Morin hauled in nine passes for 93 yards against a tough Clemson defense. He is way too cheap in this one!
Bargain Shoppers:
Jeremiah Haydel is electric for Texas State. If McBride is back under center, I can see taking a shot with the Bobcats’ main deep threat. They are going to have to throw to be successful in this one, so I can see using more than one receiver. Haydel does depend more on who’s chucking the rock though.
Remington Lutz was a teammate of Iowa transfer Peyton Mansell and was an instrumental part in getting him to transfer out of Iowa. Mansell will get enough snaps in this game for Lutz to have a strong game for the price.
