NBA DFS forward plays:

LeBron is safe. A.D. has the higher upside. Jokic is the slate-breaker, but also has the lowest floor. It is worth noting that the Joker only averaged 36.8 DraftKings points per game in four games against the Lakers this year.

Of course, you can ignore all three and chase the upside of Jayson Tatum. He had a big fantasy game in Game 1 and left a ton of points on the court still. He had a rough Game 2, so I expect ownership to be low on him for Game 3. If he puts it all together, he’ll hit 80. No one else has that kind of upside.

Bam Adebayo’s lines in the first two games were a touch disappointing from a fantasy perspective. He was everywhere when it counted, but it didn’t show up on the stat sheet. in either game. That said, he was still very close to 5x value overall. He’s still a cash game play.

Jae Crowder is still a nice bargain at his price. He has been the Heat’s best player besides Dragic and maybe Herro. The Heat are going to force Theis out of relevance in this series and Crowder is a big part of that.

Paul Millsap was a model of inconsistency this year except against the Lakers. He put up a solid 27.6 DraftKings points average in those four games. He’s the only Denver forward I’ll gamble with, and I’ll still be light on him.

One effect of Theis being an afterthought in this series is the decline in importance for Kelly Olynyk on the other side. That takes away a nice value that we had in the Milwaukee series. We’ll have to learn to adjust.

Center is quite a conundrum on FanDuel right now. The only saving grace is that we don’t have to use two of them. Jokic wont be worth the price and we can’t always afford Bam. What does that leave? Not much. Gambling with Javale or D12 or a total shot in the dark with Robert Williams. The Lakers bigs should be more prominent in this series trying to contain Jokic, so I really like Javale McGee as a punt up front.

We have to take a stand with forwards on both sites here. We might be able to get two of them in the same line, but that also means using guards against the Lakers. Can that really be the best build?
