NFL Week 2 Fantasy POV: Overrated and underrated at each position
Surefire Starters at Team Defense/Special Teams
- There are several worthy candidates but this week the New Orleans Saints are the top pick to start at team defense and special teams for week 2 of the NFL 2020 season. Their ability to remain composed and play well in such a heavily hyped football game is admirable. Need some statistics. The Saints scored one defensive touchdown, intercepted 2 passes, recovered one fumble, sacked Tom Brady once and blocked one kick.
Riding the Bench
- The Minnesota Vikings are riding the bench in week 2, because they surrendered the most points (43) and the most yardage (522) in week 1 of the 2020 season. Hopefully, for those who have the Vikings defense and special teams it is a one-week anomaly and Minnesota will rebound in week 2 against Indianapolis.
Underrated
- If Washington plays as well as they did against the Eagles, they will be a tough team to beat in 2020. They would be in the top spot except they didn’t have a “pick 6” interception for a touchdown.
Overrated
- The Houston Texans were competitive against the NFL champion Chiefs in the season opener, but the post-game statistics put them in the bottom quarter of team defenses and special teams, The Houston-Baltimore game in week 2 may tell us more about the TExans defense.
Sleeper Team Defense/Special Teams of the Week
- Watch the Buffalo Bills and how they play against Miami. A strong performance and win over the Dolphins puts added pressure on New England, The Patriots have a tough road game against Seattle in week 2.
