3. Kendrick Bourne (SF)

Game: San Francisco 49ers at New York Jets (Sunday, 9/20,1:00 pm EST)

The 49ers and Kendrick Bourne must reaffirm their identity or face the ultimatum of falling to 0-2 early in the 2020 season. This record would certainly not be indicative of the supremacy that San Francisco showed over the NFC last year. So, something’s gotta give.

You probably couldn’t script a better road opponent to face in the Jets if your singular goal is to rebound from a bad loss in Week 1. The Jets locker room is ravaged by injury, and skipper Adam Gase is already feeling the heat.

On top of that, tight end George Kittle has been ruled out for this contest. Ergo, Jimmy Garoppolo will need to involve his wideouts more in the passing game. Bourne is a reasonable candidate for the assignment.

4. Breshad Perriman (NYJ)

Game: San Francisco 49ers at New York Jets (Sunday, 9/20,1:00 pm EST)

See, you can start two sleepers from the same game, put your feet up at home, and watch on your TV as the fantasy points flood onto your smartphone.

Breshad Perriman is instantly the Jets WR1 with injuries to Jamison Crowder and Le’Veon Bell already ruling the two men out for Sunday. If this was a true-blue gambling article, we’d tell you to bet on the 49ers because this one could get ugly.

But the Jets have to get some yards through the air against San Francisco, right? By default and necessity, those will probably go to Perriman, a longtime complementary piece to Mike Evans and Chirs Godwin in Tampa Bay.
