5. Boston Scott (PHI)

Game: Los Angeles Rams at Philadelphia Eagles (Sunday, 9/20, 1:00 pm EST)

Miles Sanders figures to return for the Rams matchup, but Boston Scott will still be utilized situationally.

Scott’s production in Week 1 was somewhat diminutive, but he did see 11 touches. If you’re in a pinch because of a James Conner or Phillip Lindsay injury, give Scott a look. The Eagles can’t afford to fall to 0-2 especially after embarrassing themselves in the nation’s capital.

6. Benny Snell (PIT)

Game: Denver Broncos at Pittsburgh Steelers (Sunday, 9/20, 1:00 pm EST)

This one is really exciting. Snell might even be the best running back on the Steelers roster — regardless of James Conner’s injury. Snell was one of the three halfbacks in Week 1 to top 100 rushing yards. With Conner likely to miss time, Snell teeters on a bonafide RB2 status in your lineup instead of just a bench hero.

7. David Montgomery (CHI)

Game: New York Giants at Chicago Bears (Sunday, 9/20, 1:00 pm EST)

The aforementioned Snell notched his 113 rushing yards last week vs. these New York Giants. David Montgomery and the Bears host the Giants in Week 2. Montgomery’s touches are theoretically slated to increase as he gets his feet underneath him in his sophomore campaign. He could end up being an RB1 bell-cow at some point.

The Bears don’t throw the football as well as other teams, so eat up this plug-and-play until the Bears discourage us otherwise.
