Cincinnati Bengals. 56. Scouting Report. QB. 3.. player. Pick Analysis. Joe Burrow

Seeing Joe Burrow on this list shouldn’t come as a surprise. Yes, the Cincinnati Bengals did end up on the losing end this Thursday night against the Cleveland Browns, but Burrow was damn impressive during the contest.

The first-overall pick did have his growing pains, in the form of two fumbles, one of which was lost on a strip sack by Browns defensive lineman Myles Garrett, and his turnstile of an offensive line (looking at you Bobby Hart). Even though Burrow was knocked down to the turf on more than a handful of occasions, he still got up and tried to keep his team in the game. While Burrow wasn’t successful, he showed that he’s the Bengals quarterback of the future.

Burrow completed 37 passes on 61 attempts for 316 yards and three touchdowns against the Browns. Those attempts were the second-most by a rookie in NFL history, and he didn’t throw a single interception on any of them.

Make no mistake about it, the Bengals have their guy under center. Once Burrow gets some quality help on the offensive line, opposing defenses better watch out.
