Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. QB. 31. New York Giants. Daniel Jones. 3. player

Still at the bottom of the NFC East and the NFC in general, the New York Giants are quickly looking like a team that’s not going anywhere in 2020. It seems as though they’ve lost their best player for the season in Saquon Barkley, who apparently tore his ACL in Sunday afternoon’s road loss to the Chicago Bears. Even worse, Daniel Jones could not carry his team in a very winnable ball game.

We didn’t know it was possible, but he made Mitchell Trubisky look like a good quarterback this week. While they may have played for rival teams in the ACC, the former North Carolina Tar Heel got the best of the former Duke Blue Devil in this one. The Bears are 2-0, while the Giants are 0-2. We’re not sure if the Bears are the least bit good, but we’re certain the Giants aren’t at all.

Jones completed 25-of-40 passes for 241 yards, no touchdown passes and an interception. He also had three carries for 21 rushing yards, but couldn’t get it in the end zone on a potential game-winning drive. The G-Men fell 17-13 to the Monsters of the Midway at Solider Field on Sunday afternoon. Their season is over and we may be on the precipice of disaster with Joe Judge.

If the Giants were to bench Jones, that would mean Colt McCoy would have to come off the bench. Though he’s not a great NFL quarterback, he would have found a way to led the Giants to a shocking fourth-quarter comeback. The Giants don’t need a new quarterback yet, but there’s a game playing in the ACC now he is clearly better than Jones. New York has so many problems now.
