Even Doug Pederson has no idea why star quarterback Carson Wentz continues to struggle for the Philadelphia Eagles.

We’re now two weeks into the season and Philadelphia Eagles fans are growing tired of the product that’s being displayed each Sunday. Doug Pederson’s group is 0-2 to start the year after suffering losses to the Washington Football Team and Los Angeles Rams.

In both defeats, quarterback Carson Wentz has looked like a shadow of his former self, as the signal-caller hasn’t been able to get the offense humming in a way that many expected them to to start the new campaign. So, what’s going on with Wentz? Not even Pederson has a good answer for that.

Carson Wentz has thrown twice as many interceptions than touchdowns through the first two games of the year

Wentz indeed has struggled to start the year. Thus far, he’s thrown for just 512 yards. To make matters worse, he has two touchdowns, but four interceptions to his name. To have double the picks to touchdowns obviously can’t be happening if the Eagles want to compete for another NFC East title.

Wentz’s rough go is no question a major concern for Pederson and the Eagles coaches. The fact that they’re 0-2 only stings more after the Dallas Cowboys recorded one of the most improbable wins you’ll ever see in Week 2, taking down the Atlanta Falcons 40-39 on a walk-off field goal. The division is wide open once again this year, with many expecting it to come down to Dallas and Philadelphia.

In order for Philadelphia to turn things around, Wentz need to get back to his top form. If he doesn’t, it could turn out to be a long, miserable season for the Eagles and their incredibly passionate fanbase.

Next. Carson Wentz played so bad in Week 2 that the fake Eagles crowd booed him. dark
