It’s not as simple as finding their backup and plugging them in to play as it can be for running backs. Here are some WR’s out there that I like and could be available in your league.

Waiver Wire Replacements:

Russell Gage: He was a Julio Jones drop away from having another outstanding fantasy outing. Even without it, he racked up another 6 catches for 46 yards and a touchdown. This might be one of the rare offenses that can support 3 fantasy WR’s. The Falcons will have to play from behind majority of games given their subpar defense. He played on 83% of the snaps, up from 70% last week. He’s my #1 target this week and a must-own for all teams.

Keelan Cole: two consecutive games of 15+ PPR points. Not even on anyone’s radar, and I don’t see why not. The Jaguars are going to have to throw the ball to stay in games, and Keelan has built up a good connection with Minshew. I expect Keelan to keep up the production for season long and will be a constant flex in PPR leagues despite not being rostered in many leagues.

Marquez Valdez-Scantling or Allen Lazard: Both should see an uptick with Davante Adams assumed out. Both have been productive this season. The matchup with the Saints in Week 3. The Packers will have to throw the ball to keep up and assuming Adams is out, these are two guys that could fill in nicely.

Michael Pittman Jr.: Deep sleeper. With the loss of Parris, he might see the field and benefit. He’s a rookie. Only someone I would consider picking up in deep leagues. Always worth a flyer if you can afford it.

Other Injuries to keep track of: Drew Lock, Jimmy Garoppolo, the whole Jet’s WR core
