Jacksonville Jaguars. Ja'Marr Chase. 4. player. 52. . Wide Receiver

This draft order is based on the Super Bowl odds over at Action Network, but if you had to pick the fourth-worst team in the NFL this season, it would certainly not be the Jacksonville Jaguars. The emergence of Gardner Minshew in Year 2 makes the need for a quarterback this high not a necessity, so instead, they bring in a weapon for Minshew.

This Jaguars offense has been fun to watch in 2020, and imagine what it would look like if they could add a player like Ja’Marr Chase from LSU. This guy tore up college football last season, and at the NFL level, he would immediately bring production to a group that already includes D.J. Chark and rookie Laviska Shenault Jr.

player. 31. . Cornerback. New York Giants. Patrick Surtain II. 5

The New York Giants not only lost to the Chicago Bears in Week 2, but they pretty much insured another losing season in 2020. The Giants lost star running back Saquon Barkley to a torn ACL, ending his season, and perhaps any chance the team has to make any serious noise in the NFC East.

Looking ahead, another top-5 pick could certainly be in the cards, and with the selection, they add the best cornerback in this draft class, by far. Patrick Surtain II is ready to come in and be a CB1 for an NFL franchise, and the Giants need help in their defensive backfield in the worst way.

Wide Receiver. Miami Dolphins. Jaylen Waddle. 6. player. 59.

The Miami Dolphins hold two picks in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, and based on their record so far in 2020, they will likely be picking fairly early next April once again. With the pick, they should look to bring in a familiar face for rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, adding former teammate and wide receiver Jaylen Waddle.

Tua has yet to take over as the starter in Miami, and it may not happen until later in the season, but he is definitely the future of the franchise. By adding Waddle, they bring in a guy he is certainly used to throwing to, as they look to add to a position group that has wildly under-performed so far this season.
