player. 44. . Edge. Atlanta Falcons. Gregory Rousseau. 10

The Atlanta Falcons became the first team in NFL history to score 39 points, not turn the ball over, and still lose a game on Sunday. The defense was absolutely shredded by Dak Prescott in the second half, and you have to wonder just how long Dan Quinn will remain the head coach of this franchise.

Looking ahead, they should use their first round pick on the defense, and they have to bring in a guy who can give them more pass rush. Gregory Rousseau is the best edge rusher in this draft class, and could be gone by No. 10, but if he is here, he would be a perfect addition to their defensive line.

11. player. 59. . Offensive Lineman. Miami Dolphins. Wyatt Davis

The Miami Dolphins will pick twice in the first 11 picks in this 2021 NFL Mock Draft, and with this selection, they add to their offensive line. The team is going to eventually give the ball to Tua Tagovailoa to run the franchise at quarterback, and he could use more help on the interior of his offesnsive line.

Wyatt Davis is the best interior offensive lineman in this draft class, and he has the ability to play both guard, and center at the next level. Like all young quarterbacks in this league, keeping them upright has to be the priority, and Davis helps improve an offensive line that is still coming together as a unit.

13. . Offensive Tackle. Los Angeles Chargers. Samuel Cosmi. 12. player

The Los Angeles Chargers went with rookie Justin Herbert on Sunday, as he made a surprising start in place of Tyrod Taylor, who was dealing with a chest injury. Herbert looked all the bit the part of a future franchise quarterback, throwing for over 300 yards against a tough Kansas City Chiefs defense.

Still, the Chargers will remain with Taylor as the starter once he is healthy, but looking forward, they need to add to their offensive line. Protecting Herbert in the long-term has got to be priority No. 1, and adding Samuel Cosmi at offensive tackle gives them a solid, young player to protect his blindside.
