FanDuel NFL 2020: Best lineup for Week 3
By Nick Villano
Running Back: Derrick Henry $8,200
The running back slate is very interesting this week. With no Barley or McCaffrey due to injuries and Aaron Jones, Alvin Kamara, and Clyde Edwards-Helaire because they play on Sunday and Monday Night Football. That leaves Derrick Henry, Josh Jacobs, Ezekiel Elliott, and Dalvin Cook as the most expensive running backs on the Fanduel slate. That’s an interesting group.
The most consistent player from that group is Henry, despite a performance this past week that left fantasy owners wanting more. He’s one of the best running backs in football on a Titans team that could be without its other big weapon, A.J. Brown. It didn’t lead to more touches this week, as the Jaguars did a good job stopping him.
However, last season Henry was never held without a touchdown in back to back weeks. The fact that he did it to start this season shows he’s due. In 2018, both times Henry went back-to-back games without a touchdown, he scored two in the next game.
Henry is going up against the Minnesota Vikings, who are facing a franchise-defining week. Last week, the Vikings allowed over 100 yards and a touchdown to Jonathan Taylor. This week, Henry can put up points in bunches against a defense that’s on the rails and losing Anthony Barr.
