Detroit Lions (0-2) at Arizona Cardinals (2-0), 4:25 pm

Lions: It’s getting repetitive but once again, Matt Patricia’s team had a double-digit lead for the second straight week and it wound up resulting in a loss. The Lions’ current losing streak has reached 11 games and the club is allowing 425.5 total yards per game and has already surrendered seven offensive TDs – five through the air.

Cardinals: The team has picked up where it left off late last season. The Cardinals are 4-1 in their last five contests, this after opening the Kliff Kingsbury Era a year ago at 3-9-1. Kyler Murray continues to rely on his veteran wideout duo of DeAndre Hopkins (22) and Larry Fitzgerald (11), who have combined for 33 of Murray’s 52 completions.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-1) at Denver Broncos (0-2), 4:25 pm

Buccaneers: Bruce Arians’ team bounced back from its loss at New Orleans by finally putting away the stubborn Panthers. Coordinator Todd Bowles’ unit has built on last season’s strong finish. The Buccaneers have allowed just 15 offensive TDs in their last eight games. The club gave up 31 offensive touchdowns in their first 10 games in ‘19.

Broncos: Backup quarterback Jeff Driskel had his moments in last week’s loss at Pittsburgh replacing Drew Lock, who was injured in the first quarter and will now be out for a spell. But he was also sacked six times in three-plus quarters. The Broncos could have their hands full keeping him out of harm’s way against Tampa Bay’s pass rush.
