Tom Brady won his first game as a Tampa Bay Buccaneer last week, and now he turns his eyes to Denver

TB12’s slow path to retirement in Tampa Bay didn’t get off on the right foot, as the Buccaneers lost to the New Orleans Saints in their opening game on the road. Such a result was expected, but Brady looked remarkably human at times, and *gasps* his age.

Brady bounced back in a big way against the Carolina Panthers last week. This roster is loaded with talent, and with the weapons Tampa has gifted Brady in Year 1 with Bruce Arians, there’s a reason this team is favored to make the playoffs in the NFC this year.

The Broncos, unfortunately, haven’t been as lucky. Denver is 0-2 and facing a number of important injuries — most notably Von Miller, who is out for the season, and Drew Lock. The Missouri product Lock is expected to miss at least a few weeks with a shoulder injury, which he suffered last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Denver signed Blake Bortles this week to fill in the depth chart, and Jeff Driskel will step in. He’ll also be without trusty target Courtland Sutton for the year.
