Defense: Washington Football Team (DraftKings price $3,000)

Washington replicating its performance from Week 1, when its defensive line sacked Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz eight times in a shock win, is an unrealistic prospect and the Football Team came back down to earth in Week 2, failing to contain Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray. Washington’s struggles in stopping the run — the Cardinals racked up 160 rushing yards last week — somewhat limits the upside of this group and the Cleveland Browns certainly have the running backs to exploit that vulnerability in Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt.

Cleveland’s offensive line has also displayed significant improvement so far this year, only allowing two sacks, but the Browns have yet to face a defensive line with the depth of talent of Washington. With 11 sacks, three interceptions and a fumble recovered, Washington’s ability to create pressure should continue to lead to turnovers throughout the season regardless of the overall quality of the team.

Baker Mayfield has already thrown two interceptions this season and remains a turnover-prone quarterback who lacks composure in the face of the pass rush and will often run into pressure as he attempts to bail from the pocket.

Next. Bills’ Devin Singletary is a must-start vs. Rams in Week 3. dark

There isn’t much you can trust on the Washington roster, but DraftKings players should be able to depend on the front seven providing a valuable contribution to a winning lineup.
