Mike Vrabel’s team won its first two games by a combined five points as they headed to Minnesota to take on the 0-2 Vikings. For the second consecutive Sunday, the Titans surrendered 30 points and then were rescued by kicker Stephen Gostkowski. Two weeks after having his ups and downs at Denver, the veteran specialist was successful on all six of his field goal attempts – the last three from over 50 yards and the last with 1:44 to play for the win.

The Seahawks were at home for the second consecutive week as they took on the unpredictable Dallas Cowboys. And for the second consecutive game, Russell Wilson threw five touchdown passes, with three of them going to big-play performer Tyler Lockett. And Pete Carroll’s club once again needed all of that production as Seattle gave up 30-plus points for the second straight Sunday. The defense did limit Dallas to just 61 yards on the ground.

16. . 3-0. Previous: . Buffalo Bills. 4. team

After two wins and both over divisional foes, Sean McDermott’s club hosted the equally 2-0 Rams and was looking to kick off a season with three straight wins for a second straight year. Josh Allen threw a pair of TD passes and ran one yard for a score as Buffalo took a 21-3 halftime lead and stretched that edge to 25 points in the third quarter. The Rams came roaring back to take the lead but Allen to Tyler Kroft with 15 seconds to play was the game winner.
