2. Each team has a dynamic rookie running back

If you’re a fantasy football fiend, you already know all about Clyde Edwards-Helaire for the Chiefs and J.K. Dobbins in Baltimore. Edwards-Helaire was selected by the Chiefs in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. His addition to Kansas City’s high-octane offensive can almost be perceived as obscene.

As for the Ravens, it’s widely known John Harbaugh’s offense prefers to run the football. In 2019, Baltimore ran the football on 54 percent of all offensive snaps. This was the most in the NFL. Already in 2020, the Ravens have rushed the ball the third-most behind the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers.

Just as the Chiefs extravagantly bolstered their offense, the Ravens added Dobbins from Ohio State in the second round of last spring’s draft. What’s more, the Ravens didn’t outwardly need another running back — the team has Mark Ingram, Gus Edwards, and a quarterback that runs more than any other passer in the league.

Overall, Edwards-Helaire and Dobbins are two beholders of young talent and make the matchup all the more intriguing.
