NFL quarterback rankings, Week 4: Drew Brees is losing to time
2020 stats: 641 yards | 69.5 completion % | 2 TDs | 2 INTs | 7.8 YPA | 63.8 QBR

So much to like about Herbert. He’s accurate, he can throw from multiple platforms, he has mobility and is willing to take a hit. Right now, the only issue is three turnovers in two games. But he’s a kid and should learn.
2020 stats: 679 yards | 71.1 completion % | 4 TDs | 3 INTs | 7.0 YPA | 80.9 QBR

Fitzpatrick was damn near perfect against the Jaguars, helping Miami earn its first win of the season. The Harvard grad only threw two incompletions and while he attempted only a single pass over 20 yards, the Dolphins moved consistently.
2020 stats: 564 yards | 62.4 completion % | 5 TDs | 2 INTs | 6.6 YPA | 78.9 QBR

Mayfield moves up three spots, but mostly because of backup quarterbacks and some truly horrid play behind him. Against Washington, the former No. 1 overall pick only went for 156 yards while throwing one pass over 20 yards, which resulted in Odell Beckham saving an interception. Won’t fly against good teams.
2020 stats: 821 yards | 64.5 completion % | 5 TDs | 1 INTs | 5.8 YPA | 51.4 QBR

Burrow is continuing to stay tall, throw strikes and move the chains. This despite getting absolutely no protection, with the Bengals allowing eight sacks against in their overtime tie at Philadelphia. The main concern is health because Burrow has all the tools.
2020 stats: 787 yards | 73.8 completion % | 6 TDs | 3 INTs | 7.4 YPA | 68.5 QBR

Minshew took a step back on Thursday night. Miami’s defense has been porous and the mustachioed one couldn’t get rolling. Only two completions traveled more than 10 yards in the air. Jacksonville doesn’t have great weapons, but more has to be done by Minshew.
2020 stats: 871 yards | 74.0 completion % | 2 TDs | 2 INTs | 8.4 YPA | 63.4 QBR

Bridgewater is doing an admirable job for the Panthers. On Sunday, Carolina broke a 10-game losing streak by handing the Chargers a surprising defeat. This without do-it-all stud Christian McCaffrey. Bridgewater doesn’t make many huge plays, but he avoids mistakes and has terrific accuracy. Not a bad combination.
