FanDuel NFL 2020: Best lineup for Week 4

FLEX Option: Mike Davis $6,300

The Carolina Panthers made it clear that they aren’t changing their offense despite the injury to Christian McCaffrey. Mike Davis did a phenomenal job stepping right in that role. In the two weeks since McCaffrey’s injury, Davis has 16 catches out of the backfield for 119 yards and a tocuhdown. He added another 46 yards on the ground last week in the Panthers win against the Chargers.

In Week 1, the Arizona Cardinals were torched by a pass catching running back. Raheem Mostert caught four balls for 95 yards and a touchdown.

Jerrick McKinnon added another three catches and a touchdown in that same game. In the next two weeks, the Cardinals didn’t really face a pass-catching running back, so they didn’t have a chance to get beaten deep.

Davis has an opportunity to score a lot of points this week. He’s the man in the backfield as CMC continues to recover from his ankle injury. Teddy Bridgewater does not look downfield very often, and Davis is his outlet when he doesn’t see anything quickly.

Davis actually has more yards after the catch than he has actual yards, so he’s taking advantage of every receiver opportunity. There’s no doubt the Cardinals defense will attempt to stop Davis, but they don’t have the right players to make it happen.
