DraftKings EuroLeague basketball picks October 1

DraftKings EuroLeague Forwards:
Forward doesn’t have as many impact players, but that doesn’t mean it’s devoid of talent either. Nikola Mirotic is the headliner with Luke Sikma and Tornike Shengelia right behind him. I like Shengeila, but he will have to split production with Will Clyburn for CSKA. It may take a bit for this to sort itself out. My advice is to use Mirotic or spend your money on guards.
Bojan Dubljevic will have the Valencia frontcourt to himself with Shengelia out of town. We should see a lot of Derrick Williams in this one too. I like both of them for reasonable prices against a Villeuerbanne team that never really found its identity last winter.
Will Thomas had a couple of bigger games for St. Petersburg last year. Now he’s the guy up front for them. Mateusz Ponitka is a solid choice too. I like Arturas Gudaitis, but I’m taking a wait-and-see approach before deploying him in earnest.
Bryant Dunston was just coming back from injury when COVID hit. I expect him to have a large role for Efes in this one and he is super cheap. I’m locking him in across the board.
If Dragan Bender is in the lineup for Tel Aviv, I’ll have a lot of him. I have questions as to how effective Ante Zizic can be in the EuroLeague, but not with Bender. He could be in for a huge season.
The Zalgiris front is gutted, so both Kostas Papanikolaou and Georgios Printezis could be in for strong games here. That said, the Olympiacos front is loaded so they may play everyone about 20 minutes.
Guerschon Yabusele didn’t even play until two games before the shutdown in March, but he was highly effective in both games. Considering the lack of options up front for Villeurbanne, I’m really loving Yabusele at this price.
Everyone is cheap up front for Zalgiris, but the one that keeps standing out to me is Joffrey Lauvergne. Nigel Hayes is probably the safer play, but Lauvergne is disturbingly cheap for someone that should have a solid role on this team.
