1. Jarvis Landry (CLE)

Game: Cleveland Browns at Dallas Cowboys (Sunday, 10/4, 1:00 pm EST)

The Cleveland Browns are sitting pretty at 2-1 under new head coach Kevin Stefanski. Veteran wideout Jarvis Landry has a contributed a bit — he has 12 catches for 143 yards through three games. That’s about 760 yards for a 2020 end-of-season pace. He hasn’t found the endzone yet, but that will change in the heart of Texas.

The Cowboys have allowed nine passing touchdowns through games in 2020. That’s the most in the NFL. This Browns-Cowboys showdown will teeter into shootout territory, so Landry’s chances for accruing touchdowns ticks upward.

Odell Beckham will get his. Austin Hooper might even celebrate a touchdown. We’re picking Jarvis Landry, too.

2. Isaiah Ford (MIA)

Game: Seattle Seahawks at Miami Dolphins (Sunday, 10/4, 1:00 pm EST)

“Who in the hell is that?” says, you, the reader. Ford is the WR3 for the Miami Dolphins behind DeVante Parker and Preston Williams. Ford has been targeted 16 times in three games and even grabbed seven catches for 76 yards two weeks ago versus the Buffalo Bills.

It’s true that the Dolphins opponent, the Seattle Seahawks, are early Super Bowl frontrunners, but their defense has very little to do with it. Seattle has allowed 1,292 passing yards in 2020 ranking dead last in the NFL with this metric. In fact, the second-to-last team, the Atlanta Falcons, is nearly 250 yards behind the Seahawks in the passing-defense parameter.

Miami will score a few points, so we’re making the call that one of those touchdowns will be thrown in Isaiah Ford’s direction.
